Story-wise, I would rate it somewhere between Bravely Default and Bravely Second, the story twist is very clever, but the final villain feels disconnected from all the characters. Its very satisfying to come up with overpowered combos. You’re not here to blaze a trail and play the best video game ever you’re here because you want to feel nostalgia. Similar to the first 2 games, the jobs system is a blast to play around with. Expect turn-based gameplay, combat, and controls, as well as an overall vibe that’s innate in the genre.
